Michael Madar – Kim Kardashian’s Driver Released With No Charges

Kim Kardashian West’s robbery may have been an inside job, and French police believe her personal chauffeur, Mr. Michael Madar may have been directly involved in planning the robbery. Unfortunately, the reality star has been told she’ll never see her $4million diamond ring again as the arrested Paris chauffeur has been released with no charges.

After four months of seemingly few leads on Kim’s Paris robbery case, police have moved quickly to arrest 17 people in connection with the armed crime – including the reality star’s personal chauffeur.

Sparking questions about a possible inside job, detectives swooped on driver Michael Madar, who was employed to drive Kim around Paris during Fashion Week last autumn.

However, he has since been released from custody after a police grilling and, according to TMZ, has no criminal charges leveled against him.

The company Mr. Michael Madar is employed by, UNIC Worldpass, told the news outlet that he was in custody “for testimony purposes” only and that it, and the driver, have no connection to the armed assault.

Meanwhile, Kim has reportedly been told that her $4million diamond ring given to her by Kanye West is unlikely to reappear, as the thieves probably shipped it straight to Antwerp’s diamond district in Belgium after taking it from her Parisian apartment.

Kim K had been wearing the 20-carat emerald cut ring in the hours before the robbery, having Snapchatted herself with it in that same evening. She’s put in an insurance claim for the ring, along with claims for 12 other jewellery totalling $5.6million.

It may interest you to know that a new clip from the upcoming series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians actually shows a distraught Kim telling her sisters about the ugly ordeal.

Kim cries as she reveals how terrified she was during the robbery, thinking she’d eventually be shot in the back by the robbers. “There’s no way out,” she told Khloe and Kourtney. “It makes me so upset to think about it.”

While Kim’s film crew were documenting Kim’s trip to Paris, they weren’t rolling during the attack; so, we can’t know how much of the aftermath E! will be able to show when the reality show returns in March 2017.
