The much anticipated Cocktails and Dresses 2016, the largest gathering of made in Africa fashion finally took place on Sunday December 11 2016 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Victoria Island Lagos.
The event was well attended by Lagos fashion lovers and socialites, who were thrilled by the beauty of the items that talented manufactures had to display.
The richness of the African culture and heritage was in full display, which goes to show that there is still so much to be discovered in the African creative industry.
The event also witnessed catwalk sessions showcasing collections from top designers, followed by the young CEOs panel session handled by Kabir Shagaya, CEO Zippy Logistics Micheal Ugwu, CEO Sony Music West Africa and Olatorera Oniru, CEO Dressmeoutlet.com. The panel was moderated by Bolanle Olukanni; while the keynote address was given by Professor Pat Utomi.
